10 cornish rivers
Ref: B04

Rivers can be followed from source, where they begin, to estuary, where they meet the sea. Along the way they change dramatically. The River System, Source to Estuary (B03) has more information about this. The ‘Catchment’ or ‘Drainage Basin’ is the area that affects the river on this journey, with outputs and inputs along the way altering the intensity of the waters’ movement, or flow, and the quality of the water and surrounding environment.
